How to measure a UPVC window:
 

  • Always measure the brick to brick aperture from the outside.

  • Measure the width top, middle and bottom, take the smallest of the three measurements and deduct 10mm. This is your width.

  • Measure the height left, centre and right, take the smallest of the three measurements and deduct 10mm. This is your height. 

  • Record all measurements in millimetres (mm)

  • When you provide us with your frame measurements they will need to include the frame, cill and any frame extenders that are required.

  • If you have measured brick to brick in the height this measurement will include any cills required.

How to measure a UPVC and Composite Door:
 

  • Always measure the brick to brick aperture from the outside.

  • Measure the width top, middle and bottom, take the smallest of the three measurements and deduct 10mm. This is your width.

  • Record all measurements in millimetres (mm)

How to measure a UPVC bay window:
 

  • Measure the internal width of the bay frame inside

  • Measure each side window from the edge of the existing frame to the middle joint of the cill.

  • Measure the centre section of the bay from mitre joint to mitre joint of the cill.

  • Use an angle finder to determine the angle of the cill from inside

  • Take the overall height measurement to the underside of the cill to the top of the frame from the outside.

  • When you provide us with your frame measurements they will need to include the frame, cill and any frame extenders that are required.

How to measure an aluminium bifolding door:
 

  • Always measure the brick to brick aperture from the outside.

  • Measure the width top, middle and bottom, take the smallest of the three measurements and deduct 10mm. This is your width.

  • Measure the height left, centre and right, take the smallest of the three measurements and deduct 10mm. This is your height. 

  • Record all measurements in millimetres (mm)
